All of us budget our personal money if only on the back of an envelope to see if we have enough money to pay rent and then buy that "toy" we always wanted. Business is no different except that good businesses spend the time to develop good budgeting practices that keep them on track for a year or 2 at a time and lead to predictable profits. Then you can buy that toy!
In this workshop we will look at:
Budgeting tools. Measuring yourself against others in the industry using NAIC data.
Debt: how much is tolerable and how to measure it.
Tools to account for inflation
Creating disaster reserves.
Decisions: when should I buy that new software, when should I hire a new salesperson?
Learning Outcomes:
Participants will have the tools to make better money decisions. Better money decisions will led to more profit. More profit means the business will be more valuable.
