Coaching encourages communication, reflection and self-correction. This helps your employees become more autonomous so that they can take ownership of their work. It also helps you develop a more confident workforce, as people believe they have the right skills to perform. Using delegation as a support process to coaching allows employees to gain self confidence and a renewed understanding of their capacities and abilities. This session will allow you to see how to blend both the skills of delegating and coaching to create a more effective and independent employees.
The more you coach and the more you delegate allows you to:
- Free up your time to focus on tasks and undertakings only you can complete
- Continuously develop your team's abilities and capacities
- Build trust and collaboration within your teams
- Allow your teams to perform at their own level
Learning Outcomes:
In this workshop we will discover:
- Coaching your staff will help them discover what they already know.
- To be an effective coach you have to be present and aware what people are saying in their verbal and nonverbal communication.
- Listening to learn and support others in their journey is only part of it; you also have to challenge them, allow them to grow, build their self confidence and develop their capacity.
