Many small business owners are great at what they do — but when it comes to getting in front of a potential client and closing the deal, the sales conversation can feel uncomfortable, pushy, or just plain awkward. This workshop gives participants a practical, confidence-building framework for conducting sales calls that feel natural, professional, and effective.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
Prepare effectively for a sales call — including research, mindset, and goal-setting.
Open a call with confidence and build rapport quickly.
Ask the right discovery questions to uncover client needs.
Present their offer clearly and handle common objections with ease.
Close the call with a clear next step — without feeling salesy.
Follow up in a way that keeps the relationship warm and moves the deal forward.
Bio: Amanda Hess is a Certified Life Coach and the founder of the Love Yourself No Matter What coaching community. For over 6 years she has worked with business owners on the part nobody prepares you for: what happens in your head when you're the one carrying the whole thing.
She helps entrepreneurs get out of survival mode, make clear decisions instead of anxious ones, and build a business that's profitable and one they actually love running. Her clients have gone on to build 7-figure businesses.
A former corporate leader turned coach, Amanda brings a blend of real-world business experience and emotional intelligence to her workshops. She's straightforward about numbers and kind about the human behind them, because the fastest way to grow a business is usually to take better care of the person running it.
