Together, we will explore practical ways to gain valuable insights into your industry, acquire knowledge and understanding about your target market and potential customers, and find out what it would take to capture a piece of that market.
We’ll also explore the feasibility of bringing the business idea to market and the components of business viability as determined by potential to earn profit once a suitable price has been determined and the costs identified.
Learning Outcomes:
During this 2-hour workshop, participants will:

Bio: Grant Boothman joined the Rise team as a Youth Program Facilitator in 2019. Grant has a Commerce degree and majored in Entrepreneurship at the University of Victoria. Since then, he has worked with small social start-ups both at home and abroad. Grant as a keen interest in using entrepreneurship as a tool to empower people to make positive change in their personal lives and communities. When Grant is not working on this, he is likely cycling up and down the gravel roads of Vancouver Island.
